Each item must be important to your cause for “denial of the permit”: we may have more than one issue, so be clear and concise as you will be sending these off to a Federal agency… 6000- character limit.
Ask yourself …
*does it directly affect your property? How?
*does it adversely affect your water rights? How?
*does it affect your recreational rights? How?
*does it affect the endangered species ? How?
*does it affect your “riparian” rights? How?
*does it affect your property values? How?
1. loss of critical wildlife/habitat/marsh habitat/endangered plants and animals
2. economic development
3. schools/ community
4. water wells, tributaries and springs
5. irrigation rights/grazing lands and grasses
6. reeds/ basket weaving/indigenous activities
7. recreational activities/boating/swimming
8. cottage industries/hunting/fishing/cabin rental
There are probably more than I can list here, but you know what will adversely affect you, your families and your way of life. Be thorough and use “spell-check”!
